If you’ve ever been to a music festival, there is no doubt that you have heard future bass music. It’s a synth-based genre of music, also drawing inspiration from trap, pioneered by artists such as Flume and Cashmere Cat. Some other notable artists that have contributed to the genre are Ekali, Louis The Child, Flux Pavilion, Illenium, Marshmello, RL Grime and more.
The most evident characteristics of future bass music are massive detuned supersaw synth chords and leads, hard rapid-fire trap drums and a sub bass that will shake your entire house. It is common to use risers, white noise and drum build-ups in the arrangement of these songs, and some tracks also feature lush vocals.
If you want to start making future bass music, these sample packs will help get you on your way.
Ekali is a Canadian instrumentalist and producer from Vancouver, BC. He started making electronic music in 2014, and since has been making big waves in the electronic community; from his visceral, captivating original work and collaborations to his thundering club remixes. He has done official remixes for Flume, Khalid, Alina Baraz, Snakehips, Ta-Ku and more.
This pack contains many sounds that Ekali has made for his own productions or taken from his own collection. In this pack you can find assorted kicks, snares, percs, hats, loops, and misc sounds.
There is also a volume 2 and 3 of this sample pack series.
Graves is a Grammy-Award winning producer and engineer from Honolulu. He has engineered many projects, the most notable being Kanye West’s “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”.
The sounds in this pack are not only great for future bass, but also R&B and hip-hop. This collection features crisp drum grooves, deep 808s, synth atmospheres, vocal shots and more.
KRANE is known for his unique blend of electronic, hip-hop & dance music. Early days of hosting demos and bootleg remixes on Soundcloud gave way to acclaimed singles, remixes, EPs, albums, and a collaborative series called ‘SESSIONS’. The quick rise of his project in 2015 led to the release of TOKiMONSTA & KRANE’s single “Put It Down” featuring Anderson .Paak.
This pack is the first of an ongoing series of sample packs, featuring drums, FX and synth samples from his most popular tracks.
Hailing all the way from New Zealand, QUIX has been tearing up the minimal trap scene for a while now, paving a new wave with his massive synths and signature wonky sound design. His tracks are always festival ready, and he has made official remixes for artists such as Alison Wonderland, AWOLNATION, Diplo and more.
This pack is the first of two sample packs that QUIX has released.
Samplified has released its own future bass sample pack that features over a gigabyte of gritty, futuristic and bass-heavy sounds of the golden age of alternative Trap/Hip-Hop. It will compliment any hip-hop, R&B and more low-key electronic music as well.
